Management Team
Tidal's management team consists of its founders, Mr. Nick MacKinnon (President and CEO) and Dr. Ulrich Stange (VP Research and Development).
The Board of Directors consists of Nick MacKinnon and Ulrich Stange, along with three independent directors with considerable experience to guide the development of the Company: Dr. Michael Albin, former Vice President, Strategic Technologies for Applera Corporation; Mr. Bruno Jaggi, P.Eng., co-founder and director of Xillix Technologies Corp. and a member of the faculty at BC institute of Technology and University of British Columbia; and Mr. Milton Woensdregt, CA, former Senior Vice-President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Terasen Inc. Nick MacKinnon is President and CEO of Tidal. Mr. MacKinnon provides the vision for Tidal Photonics development and growth. He brings to bear six years experience in the sales and marketing of analytical instrumentation, and a comprehensive understanding of the medical device development process gained working with three medical device companies. His extensive network of associates at leading institutions and companies, coupled with a broad, in-depth understanding of the business opportunities in the field of medical photonics are strategic assets to the company.	Dr. Ulrich Stange is Tidal's Vice-President, Research and Development. Dr. Stange provides a structured and disciplined approach to device software and hardware development and documentation as well as managing the Company's operations during its initial development phases. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Applied Optics, and with solid experience developing software and control algorithms in the biomedical and spectroscopy areas, he is essential to the continuing technical development of the control systems and hardware of Tidal's product line.
